I started today excited to begin setup for my new line of pet toys and treat. After dumping my cheating husband, I’d worked twelve-hour days, seven days a week forever, to build my business, but success and profit were always just out of reach. Today was supposed to change all that. Today, I intended to turn the corner with the launch of Alyssa’s Treats and Toys for Paws. Instead, the day began with my right-hand woman quitting, a guy with a knife invading, and a dead body appearing. Now, unless I catch the killer and right the wrongs, I’ll lose everything.
