A psychic medium. A mouthy ghost. A magical murder mystery that could ruin Luna’s fresh start—if it doesn’t kill her first.

Luna Boxer is a freshly fifty psychic counselor with a cat who talks back, a suitcase full of regrets, and big plans for a new beginning at the exclusive Mystwood Retreats in Moon Lake, Indiana. But when Roz Pickett—former family friend, part-time headache, and full-time diva—shows up as a ghost screaming about murder and a stolen enchanted necklace, Luna’s relocation becomes a full-blown paranormal whodunit.

Now, instead of quiet mornings and vision board workshops, Luna’s chasing clues through secret garden greenhouses, haunted mansions, and high-society country clubs—uncovering hidden spells, magical heirlooms, and family secrets best left buried.

Armed with intuition, determination, and a very judgmental psychic cat, Luna must outwit shady suspects and crack the case before Roz’s restless spirit wreaks havoc on everyone she left behind.

A witch can save a life. That doesn’t mean she can stop a murder.
Luna’s first Halloween at Mystwood is supposed to be a celebration of everything she’s found in Moon Lake: a fresh start, a family of wonderfully odd friends, and a place where her magic belongs.

Then she saves town clerk Martha Bellamy from a runaway truck—only to find her murdered hours later.

With Moon Lake counting on its Halloween festival to keep the town afloat, the show must go on. But beneath the cider, costumes, and carnival lights, someone is hiding a deadly secret. Luna’s search for answers leads to a boy who vanished and a love story that never got its ending.

Meanwhile, Mystwood’s gnomes are counting ghosts who shouldn’t be here. The portal between worlds is weakening. And the ghost who has guarded it for two centuries refuses to admit she can’t hold it alone.

Luna understands that stubbornness all too well.

With a killer among the living and more spirits crossing every night, she’ll need her sharp-tongued talking cat, her fellow witches, and every meddlesome friend she has.

Because this Halloween, the home she finally found is the very thing she stands to lose.

A heartfelt paranormal cozy mystery brimming with spirited mischief, small-town secrets, found family, and love that refuses to be forgotten.
